‘We photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing, and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth can make them come back again. We cannot develop and print a memory.’ Henri Cartier-Bresson

Hello and welcome to my site.

I am a qualified photographer with a BA (Hons) in Editorial Photography from one of the UK’s most prestigious University’s for photography, Brighton.

I combine my technical know-how and aesthetic awareness in order to create beautiful images. I am a photographer that loves weddings and therefore consider myself to have the best job in the world! When creating my own fine art based images I enjoy using the traditional manual method of a Medium Format camera (take a look at my portfolio), but when I photograph weddings I take no risks and rely on my digital equipment to see me through! I am also a member of The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.

I work in partnership with my husband Will, who is a qualified Graphic Artist and an excellent photographer (lucky me!). We both have a natural, creative talent and passion for photography. We love weddings and are both overjoyed when a couple asks us to document their special day. We understand that your wedding day is one of the most momentous milestones in your life and those precious moments need to be captured and immortalised. We will preserve those memories for you to be treasured and looked at in years to come.

We work in a relaxed and unobtrusive way to capture your day as it unfolds. Our style ensures we take all the traditional wedding day shots you would expect to see in a wedding album but also a range of reportage images that capture the moment and demonstrate our eye for artistic flare. We prefer to produce images that do not rely on post-production techniques, so you wont see any heavily ‘Photoshopped’ images here rather we prefer a more traditional style shooting in both colour and monochrome. We work together so, for example, when I am taking photographs of the bride getting ready Will is shooting the groom and details at the location of the ceremony. We then work together to photograph the rest of the day. This works particularly well on many instances, for example as when I am photographing the bride walking up the aisle Will is ready and waiting to capture you on your way back! So, you really do get two photographers for the price of one!

We like to meet the bride and groom before the wedding to get to know you and all the details about your big day. This allows us to work in a way that is unique for every couple by photographing images that suit your likes and dislikes and we will aim to capture a real sense of who you are and what is important to you. Our style therefore is not fixed but fluid.

When we are not busy photographing weddings you will usually find Will playing the guitar or piano and myself gardening or baking cakes. Otherwise we will be walking our dog Buddy in the woods discussing our next project!

We are based in Leatherhead, Surrey and usually photograph in and around Surrey or in London. However, we are always happy to travel further out!
